Garbanzo beans are perfect candidates for dehydrated meals. The only danger is they’re also really good to snack on after being dehydrated. The key is to bag this one up quickly and not when you’re hungry.
- 1 onion, chopped into smallish pieces
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can garbanzo beans
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 1 pkg mushrooms
- an inch or so fresh garlic, minced
- 1T garam masala
- 1t cumin
- 2t coriander
get your rice cooker on.
sauté the onions a bit.
add the spices and sauté some more
add the mushrooms, garlic, and beans and sauté a bit more.
add the tomatoes and cook until it’s cooked.
dehydrate the chana masala and the rice on separate trays at 135º.
Bag it Up – 2 servings
weigh out the chana masala and the rice separately and bag that delicious goodness.
